May 2022. We have just returned from a very fruitful weekend in Toledo, staying at the beautiful Discalced Carmelite monastery and having meetings with Fr. Tito (the prior) to plan our retreat-pilgrimage there at the end of September. The theme of the retreat is "Behold the Beloved: contemplating Christ with Teresa of Avila and John of the Cross". The programme includes pilgrimage walks around this stunning Mediaeval city led by Fr. Tito, explorations of some of El Greco's most emblematic spiritual paintings at the Cathedral and the Holy Cross museum, and learning sessions facilitated by Daniel.
